BREAKING: Justice Department argues House lawmakers should not gain access to Mueller grand jury materials https://cnn.it/2UUEXky
Barr (then): DOJ can’t indict a sitting POTUS Mueller (then): I agree. And that’s what impeachment is there for. Go for it, Congress. Barr (now): Sorry Congress, but I’m not giving you access to Mueller’s evidence so you can make an impeachment decision.
Breaking*** Attorney General Barr has received the draft report from the IG on allegations of FISA abuses and will begin the process of reviewing it, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Eyes up, patriots. Barr's gonna be blowin' swamp smoke from Trumped-up FISA "violations" to muddy the impeachment hearin' news cycles next week.
I'm a Warren supporter, but anecdotally, there is a stranger, stronger troll campaign against Harris than anyone else out there online... I've said positive things about several of the Dem candidates & she's the only one about whom I get a wave of canned vitriol-bots in response.
What is Trump’s acting DNI hiding? Schiff accuses top intel official of illegally withholding 'urgent' whistleblower complaint https://www.politico.com/story/2019/09/13/schiff-maguire-intelligence-1496135 …
This looks very troubling, even by Trump standards. I suspect this story is going to get worse.
50 USC § 3033(k)(5)(C): the DNI is required to transmit details on "urgent complaints" to congressional intel committees w/in 7 days-only exemption is if the complaint isn't "credible." If Schiff's claims that the complaint is credible are correct, the acting DNI broke the law.
This is a very important story. Not only re: what its substance may be...but that it is the latest sign that the Trump Administration is waging a systematic and thus far successful campaign against the Rule of Law in America.
The NY AG’s office has “tracked about $1 billion in wire transfers by the Sackler family, including through Swiss bank accounts, suggesting that the family tried to shield wealth as it faced a raft of litigation over its role in the opioid crisis.”
